  Les Voixes Electriques : Electrornithologie As part of the Foyer Lire avec les vivantes : les carnet d'oiseaux I took inspiration from the installation Le Jardin des Voix Timides created at the Jardin des Plantes in Grenoble in 2021. I proposed an audio installation that diffused - via portable speakers hidden in the trees of the grove next to the Château de Cerisy orangery that welcomed us - synthetic sounds. Influenced by the subject of the foyer and perhaps also by the colloque Jean Cocteau, le déniaisement des lettres et des arts which ran in parallel I decided to title this project Le Voix Electriques. Radio Gruve 7, the northern most FM broadcasting

  Radio Gruve 7   As part of the photo exhibition:  INNE I VERDEN / INSIDE THE WORLD: the Last Miners of Longyearbyen which opened at the Spitsbergen Kunstnerserter / Artist Center, Vei 100.2 Longyearbyen, Svalbard, Norway, I presented the installation Sound Reactivation:  Radio Gruve7 FM 100.2 which uses audio recordings I made inside Gruve 7 / Mine 7, at the end of May 2025, a few weeks before its closure. At the same time, the Gruve 7 Radio Station, FM 100.2 , was activated and will broadcast in an area of about one kilometre around the Spitsbergen Kunstnersenteret, Vei 100.2, until June 30, 2025, when Gruve 7 / Mine 7, the last active mine in Longyearbyen, and last norvegian Svalbard mine will will be permanently closed. In January 2024 I showed the installation Frozen Dreams, Luminous Voices in the Night in the gallery of the Spitsbergen Artists Centre in Longyearbyen, Svalbard; a year later I took the same artwork to another desert, 5303.99 km to the south: In the framework of the artistic residency at Café Tissardmine on 20 and 27 January 2025, in the intimate space of a Sahara oasis under a magnificent starry night.   Thawing Dreams, voices are water Thawing Dreams, voices are water follows Frozen Dreams, luminous voices in the night and is the second chapter of a project realised during residencies at the Spitsbergen Artists Centre in Longyearbyen, Svalbard, Norway in winter 2023 and summer 2024.  After the long night of the winter solstice, the second chapter of the Arctic adventure took place, as planned, on the long day of the summer solstice.   Frozen Dreams, luminous voices in the night   Frozen Dreams, Luminous Voices in the Night is the first chapter of a work-in-progress, ambience-specific, audio-visual installation. It is a project conceived and carried out during an artistic residency I did, together with photographer and videomaker Eugenio Pini, in the winter of 2023-2024 at the Spitsbergen Artists Center, in Longyearbyen, Svalbard Islands, Norway. In a dark and silent space, voices, diffused by portable loudspeakers anchored to colourful flashing balloons, narrate their dreams: inner memories reactivated when heard. The project is inspired by Les Paroles Gelées (The Frozen Words), a section of the fourth book (1552) of François Rabelais’s Gargantua et Pantagruel , which narrates that at the edge of the frozen sea, in winter, there was a great and bloody battle.   Abbiamo bisogno dei vostri sogni   We need your dreams (scroll down/click)   Nel mese luglio 2021, nell’ambito del convegno  L’Enchantement qui réviént  svoltosi negli spazi magici del Castello di Cerisy ho proposto e realizzato  Entre son et songe: Dream’s Cloud ,  installazione visiva e sonora, poi utilizzata per la copertina del volume degli atti. Giuseppe Gavazza Dreams Cloud A bit in the spirit of Rabelais' Paroles gelées ,  but without the fighting (make dreams, not war!).  Attached to luminous balloons, I install a dozen pocket loudspeakers scattered around the garden, which will broadcast voices narrating their dreams.  During the first installations, at the Château de Cerisy-la Salle in July and August 2021, I collected more than eighty dreams told by voices speaking in French, Italian, English, Chinese, Korean, Tunisian, Spanish.   The collection of dreams continues with new calls for new opportunities.
